With WeatherFlow, you can easily embed detailed hourly weather forecasts on your page using just a shortcode. Pick any location around the world covered by OpenWeatherMap’s extensive forecasting services.

To display the weather forecast, simply add the following shortcode to any post or page: [WeatherFlow].

Installation

  1. Search ‘WeatherFlow’ in the WordPress Plugin directory on your site.
  2. Click ‘Install’ on the WeatherFlow plugin.
  3. Click ‘Activate’ on the WeatherFlow plugin.
  4. Configure WeatherFlow’s settings by following the steps in the settings page.

FAQ

Can I display daily or weekly forecasts?

Support for this is in the pipeline. WeatherFlow was initially built as a custom solution for a private business, hence the niche functionality. More features coming soon!

Where can I get an OpenWeatherMap API key?

You can sign up for a free account at OpenWeatherMap and obtain your API key from your account dashboard.

How do I customize the weather display?

You can customize the appearance of the weather display by changing the settings in the WeatherFlow admin settings page. There are limited customisation options for now but more are coming!

What locations does WeatherFlow support?

WeatherFlow supports any location available through the OpenWeatherMap API. You can use geographic coordinates to retrieve the weather information.
